Elanco Advantage II Flea Treatment for Cats - 2.3 kg - 4 kg is a veterinarian recommended treatment intended to kill parasites through contact (no biting required). This easy to apply topical treatment can be used monthly for year-round protection. Best suited to cats weighing 2.3 kg - 4 kg, this treatment kills fleas, larva and eggs on contact.  It’s important to treat your cat for fleas and parasites because flea bites can cause allergy dermatitis, skin infections and other potentially serious health issues. In addition, a single flea can lay up to 50 eggs per day leading to infestations in your home. This product can be used to break the flea life cycle and treat and control infestations in the home.  Elanco Advantage II Flea Treatment for Cats can also be used on rabbits 4 months old or older weighing 1.5 to 4 kg and ferrets 10 weeks old and older weighing 0.4 to 4kg. 

Cautions

Firstly, DO NOT administer by mouth. Use only on cats 8 weeks of age and older weighing between 2.3 kg and 4 kg. Do not use on cats under 8 weeks of age. Repeat every 4 weeks for continual pest control in situations where there is an ongoing risk of pest infestation. If retreatment becomes necessary earlier than 4 weeks, do not retreat more than once weekly. Use only on pet rabbits 4 months of age and older weighing between 1.5 and 4 kg. Do not use on pet rabbits under 4 months of age. Do not use on rabbits intended for human consumption. Use only on pet ferrets 10 weeks of age and older weighing between 0.4 and 4 kg. Do not use on pet ferrets under 10 weeks of age.
