how does it work?

Browse through our online store from the comfort of your home and select your pets’ favourite products. Once you’ve decided on the perfect mix, set your delivery frequency for each item. You can decide on a delivery frequency that works for your pets’ unique feeding habits on both the product page or cart page. Choose one-time or set up recurring deliveries. After setting your delivery frequency and checking your order over, proceed to checkout. Place your order, sit back, relax and let us fetch it for you. No more last-minute dashes to the store! Your order will be delivered securely to the address provided. Future deliveries will be auto-shipped based on the schedule set by you.

how often will my food be delivered?

It’s up to you! Set your delivery frequency on each product and decide on a schedule that works for your pets. Choose a one-time delivery, or set a recurring schedule from every two weeks up to every three months.

can i place an order for pick-up?

You bet! If you’d like to place an order for pickup at our Red Deer, Alberta location, simply select the “Local Pickup” option on the Checkout page. You can pickup at our store on Monday to Thursday from 12:00 – 4:00 pm or Friday from 12:00 – 3:00 pm. Please allow a 24 hour order processing time before arriving to pick-up your order.

is there a delivery fee?

will the products on my auto-renewal ever change in price?

Product prices are subject to change if there is a price change issued from the manufacturer. Your subscription total will reflect any changes to product prices. New or increased pricing will be reflected on your subscription renewal reminder that is sent via email 48 hours before your subscription renews. You can also find this pricing information under the Orders tab on the My Account page. Be sure to check prices on your subscription renewal reminder to be conscious of any price changes to your auto-renewal! You can cancel or change your subscription through the My Account page.

If you place an auto-renew order with a one-time discount code, the discount code will be removed at the time of your first renewal. One-time discount codes will only be applied to your first delivery. If you place an auto-renew order for an item that is on sale, the sale price will be removed from future deliveries once the sale ends.

how do i know when my order will be delivered?

what if my delivery arrives damaged or my pet doesn’t like it?

No worries! We want you and your pets to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Contact us if your product arrived damaged or your pet is less than impressed. We’re happy to replace products or help find something more suitable for your pet. Please visit our Returns and Exchanges page for further details.

*Brindle Pets must be notified within 24 hours of delivery if the product arrived damaged.
*No more than 30% of the product can be consumed to qualify.
*Please note we cannot offer exchanges on shipped items, only returns.

how fresh are the perishable products you carry?

We aim to ensure all perishable products are kept fresh while minimizing our product waste. We have processes in place to ensure freshness and provide perishable products well within their best before dates. Any items approaching their best before date are marked down 50% – 70% and sold at a discount to provide an opportunity to purchase the items on sale and help reduce product waste. You can find these items in our Sale Section. We use the best before purchase date as a reference for shelf-life, however, products are still fresh for consumption approximately 3 months after the best before date.

how do i change or cancel an order?

Please contact our team at info@brindlepets.ca as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We cannot change or modify an order if it has already shipped or is en route for local delivery. Please see our Returns and Exchanges page for additional details.

how long will it take for my order to process?

We work hard to ensure all orders are processed within 1-2 business days. All orders will ship out within this time unless there are unexpected manufacturer shortages or you have ordered a backordered or pre-ordered item. You will be notified via email as soon as possible if there is an unexpected delay to your order.

what does it mean when an item is on backorder?

Select out-of-stock items are available for backorder on our website. When an item is on backorder, it simply means the item is not currently in our warehouse and needs to be special ordered. There is no additional charge for special orders. Backordered items can take anywhere from 5 – 10 business days to ship depending on availability. If the backordered item becomes unavailable, your order will be canceled and you will be notified by email. Items eligible for backorder are identified on the product page and again on your order confirmation.
